To all of our *crazy* Marshall fans (you know who you are!):  We are coming back to Marshall on Saturday, October 30th to the YMCA!  We’re going to be there at 7 to hang out with you all, and we’ll kick off our concert around 9 pm.  And apparently it’s a costume party, so make sure you dress up!  We’ve got some new songs to share with you all.  See you at the Y!

SHASTA BLVD is going for the gold this year at Club 3′s Battle of the Bands, 2010!  We’re bringing to the table some brand new songs, too!  Make sure you come check out our Round 1 kick-off night on Saturday, October 16th!  Doors open at 6 pm.  See you at the battle!

SHASTA BLVD’s Lifelight Debut!

It’s hard to believe that in less than 2 weeks we’ll be rockin’ out at one of the biggest Christian music festivals in the US!  Lifelight, here we come!  If you’ve never been to Lifelight before, there are a few things you should know.  First of all, it is completely FREE.  No need to buy a ticket for admission.  Secondly, it’s an extremely laid-back and family-friendly atmosphere.  And lastly, there are going to be a ton of awesome bands there! 

We are lucky enough to be playing twice at Lifelight.  Make sure you come check us out and come say hi!  Here are our times and stages:

Friday, September 3rd at 8 pm- 360 Stage

Saturday, September 4th at 6:30 pm- Coffee house Stage

New Myspace Launch **Coming Soon!**

This Friday our Myspace page is going to get some much needed TLC thanks to our friends at The Otter Design.  It’s been several weeks in the making.  Make sure you check it out and let us know what you think! 

Other exciting news!  We’re getting a new line of merch to be available for our upcoming festivals this summer, so make sure you get yourself to Joyful Noise, Sonshine, Higher Ground, and Lifelight to see what it is!

Hottest Show Ever!

Our show at Awake the Lakes in Alexandria  this weekend wins the prize for our hottest show ever!  Not only was it the warmest day of the year on Saturday, but also one of the longest sets we’ve had to play (an hour and a half).  I think we were all regretting wearing black pants.  On top of that, the sun was setting right in our faces, and we were all sweating so much that the guitars and keys were dirty and slippery. 

With that said, it was a show to remember!  We had a great crowd who stayed for the whole show despite the fact they were sitting out in the sun most of the time.  And the opening band was a great group of people. 

Hope to come back again soon, Alexandria!  But we just might have to wear shorts next time.
