Our new CD is Here!

There is something really beautiful about finally getting to hold a physical CD of all of our months and months of hard work. It even smells good! Yes folks, our CD, titled Movin’ On, has arrived in stacks and stacks of boxes, all perfectly shrinkwrapped and ready to go to their new home tomorrow…your home! Remember to come to our big show on Friday, July 22nd with Boiling Point and Triple Stitch and get one of our new CDs. You’re going to love it! See you at 7 pm in Cold Spring!

Remember, if you can’t make it to the show (although you WILL be missing out) we will be selling the CD in our merch store. Make sure you get one! Thanks for all your support these pasts months as we’ve been working on these songs! We do it for you!

CD Release Show Less Than a Week Away!

It’s almost here! Our new CD, “Movin’ On”, will be ready for release at our CD release show on Friday, July 22nd. Here are the show details:

Where: River of Life AG, Cold Spring, MN

When: Doors open at 6:30- Music starts at 7

Who: Boiling Point and Triple Stitch will be opening the show before we play our new songs as well as some of our “old” favorites- We have some surprises in store as well!

Cost: Only $5 at the door

This is also a family friendly show, so kids are welcome.

Mark your calendars and plan on coming out to our long-awaited CD release show on July 22nd. Our CD release show will be held at the Breakthrough youth building at River of Life Assembly in Cold Spring. This will be your first chance to get our new CD, titled Movin’ On. We have worked long and hard on this project, with the help of Jon Lewis from Hyland. We know you’re going to love it! The release show is going to be a blast, so make sure you come celebrate with us! More details will follow on our website and facebook, so make sure you tune in!

We’re coming back to Luverne! Here is the information for the upcoming August 14th show:

Breath of Life Music Festival

Last years Music on the Black Top was such a hit that we are doing it again only we have changed the name and have included other churches.

Breath of Life Music Festival for 2011 will be offering an evening of fun, fellowship, ministry and three of the best bands in Christian music performing LIVE in Luverne, MN on August 14, 2011.

-FREE-

Please join us at the Luverne City Park from 8pm-11pm as these bands who are climbing the charts come together to share the gift of music they provide and show the joy that can come from knowing our creator.

Churches in our community have come together in hopes of making the Breath of Life Music Festival an annual gathering of a community of believers, Christians of all ethnicities and backgrounds, for an evening of fellowship, entertainment and education.

The festival will be a chance to gather to hear music, worship and prayer,
meet new people, broaden horizons and rejuvenate spirits.

Concessions will be available at reasonable prices.

This years bands include:

Flame on Gospel (F.O.G)
Shasta Blvd returning for their 2nd year

SHASTA BLVD at Rock the Barn on 07/11/11

We’re going to be playing for the first time at Rock the Barn in New Prague on July 11th. Rock the Barn is a fairly new music festival, this being it’s 4th year. Here is some information about Rock the Barn:

“For those of you who don’t know about Rock the Barn let me fill you in. Rock the Barn started out as a small 6 band show out in New Prague MN in July of 2008; from there it has expanded to 8 bands, to 12 bands and this year to a whopping 14 bands! These bands include but are not limited to Hyland, Triple Stitch, Take it back, Nineball/The savvy, White collar sideshow, Children 18:3, The Wedding and Bread of stone.

We are a non-profit festival funded by the community (individuals, churches and businesses). We have consistently grown in attendance, last year we had over 400 people! Rock the Barn is a community outreach, our mission statement is simply “party in the barn with a purpose” that purpose being, to share the love of Christ to anyone and everyone. We want to show both kids and adults that being a Christian is more than just going to church on Sunday and that we can all have an awesome time together.”

We’re looking forward to Rock the Barn! See you there!

We’re doing another Battle of the Bands hosted by the Rox in St Cloud, MN. The first night is June 23rd. Here is the line up of bands for the night:

12:45- Battlefish

This is a secular contest, so we are really excited to play our music to a new crowd. See you at the Rox!

SHASTA BLVD at North Central University (3 Degrees Tournament) on 04/23/11

We’re going to Round 3 of the Club 3 Music Tournament! We’re playing at the new tournament location, the Trask Worship Center at North Central University. Doors open at 4:30pm and music starts at 5pm on Saturday, April 23rd. We’re excited to play at the new location. The other bands for the night are yet to be announced. Cost is $8 at the door.
